Janice Wales Nichols, 65 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at her home.
Born Friday, December 1, 1950 in Ardmore, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Malon Wales and the late Kathlene Vickers Wales. She was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and a member of Holland’s Gin Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, smocking, and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Stanley Wales and Joe Mack Wales.
Surviving are daughter, Erica (Jarred) Butler of Ardmore, AL, sister, Kathy (Mark) Bozee of Elkmont, AL, and Renee Wales of Ardmore, AL, grandchildren: Kaleigh Butler and Gavin Butler and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Kasey Harbin and Bro. Carl Witty officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL Pallbearers will be Matthew Wales, Josh Wales, Kevin Bailey, Pat Jacklin, Andy Jacklin, and Joey Wales.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
