Travis Lee Hood, 76, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Thursday, October 06, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, October 09, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in chapel. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood. Officiating will be Danny Puckett.
Travis was a member of the IBEW Local # 558 and recently retired from Cherokee Nitrogen after 50 years of loyal service.
Survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Susan; brothers, Donny Hood (Della) of Haleyville, AL and Jimmy Hood (Linda) Haleyville, AL; sister, Doris Camp of Haleyville, AL; children, Keith Hood, Tuscumbia, AL, William Wallace (Tanya) Russellville, AL, Roger Wallace (Sherry) Tuscumbia, AL, and Shane Wallace (Crystal) Tuscumbia, AL; grandchildren, Heather Harris, Holly Hood, Amanda Hood, DJ, Aubrey, and Audrey Wallace, Andrew and Kaidin Wallace, Devan, Kevin, Cash, and Cruz Wallace; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a very special great niece.
Preceded in death by Mom, Magdalene Hood; Dad, Lee Hood; Son, Barry Hood; Grandson, Heath Hood; Grandson, Robin Hood.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Wallace, Cash Wallace, Cruz Wallace, DJ Wallace, Aubrey Wallace, Devan Wallace, and Todd Hood.
