Virginia H. Starnes, 70 of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama, Union Hill Community of Morgan County, died Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.
Mrs. Starnes was born August 28, 1946 in Marshall County, Alabama to Emmitt Hunkeapiller and Hazel Fletcher Hunkeapiller. She worked for Sanmina as an Electronic Tester until her retirement. Her husband, James David Starnes preceded her in death in April of 2004.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Starnes is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: James Edward and Frances Starnes; a daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Brad Edmondson; two grandchildren: Kevin Wray and Emily Wray; a great grandchild: Rosalie Sorrell; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne and Susie Hunkeapillar, Marlon and Judy Hunkeapillar and a sister June Ratley.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday October 8, 2016 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Brother: Bryan Mosley, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday October 8, 2016 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City.
