Shelley Kathryn Roberts, 72, of Huntsville AL passed away on September 27th, 2016 after a courageous battle to overcome lung cancer. She was the daughter of Grace (Nicoletto) and Anthony Silvania of Clearwater FL and Roscoe PA, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Chuck of 51 years and their two sons Scott and Steven, living in Birmingham AL. Shelley was a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years and retired from The Heart Center in Huntsville in 2007. She loved providing patient care and helping others. She also loved meeting people and could talk with anyone about anything. She loved reading and she did volunteer work to improve the reading skills of elementary school children. Because of her love of animals, she volunteered often at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society. Her Basset Hound, Chloe, was the light of her life.
We will all miss her greatly. No public service is planned. Donations may be made in her honor to an Animal Rescue of your choice.
