Margaret Irene Rogers, 95, of Tuscumbia passed away Tuesday September 20, 2016. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday September 22, 2016 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Littleville, AL. She will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Jeremy Sanderson will officiate.
Mrs. Rogers is a native of Lawerence Co., AL. She is preceded in death by her husband I.C. Rogers; her dauther Angie Wilbanks, and her great-grandson Judson Woods.
She is survived by her sons Woodrow Rogers (Elizabeth) of Splendora , TX, Charles Rogers (Jo) of New Caney, TX, Jimmy Rogers (Denise) of Huffman, TX, and Roy Rogers (Becky) of Tuscumbia, AL; daughters Mildred Rogers Brewer (Johnie) of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Lynn Rogers Crowden (Buddy) of Tuscumbia, AL; sister Mattie Whitlock of Tuscumbia, AL; son-in-law Harley Wilbanks; twenty-four grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Rogers, David Rogers, Kenny Rogers, Mitch Rogers, Jonathan Brewer, Shawn Brewer, Andrew Crowden, and Ryan Crowden.
