L. F. Carpenter, Jr. of Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Lynnville, Tn on May 19, 1931 and was 85 years old.
Mr. Carpenter was a long time businessman in Pulaski. He was a founding partner of Giles County Furniture in 1967 and a member of the Second Street church of Christ.
Visitation will be 12:00 until 3:00pm Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 3 o’clock in the chapel of the funeral home.
Burial takes place in Maplewood Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Phillips Carpenter, parents, Leonard Franklin and Clara Bell Peden Carpenter, and sister, Margaret Bateman.
