Margaret Lorene Baskins, 80, of Florence went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, September 12th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights/Florence. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Green officiating. Burial will follow at Rhodesville Cemetery.
Lorene was a native of Florence and a retired seamstress. She was a member of Rhodesville Methodist Church. Maw Baskins was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lynn Baskins; parents, Robert and Mary Joiner; and sisters, Christine Montgomery and Betty Frances Joiner.
Lorene is survived by her sons, David Baskins (Sheila) and Bobby Baskins (Vicky); daughter, Shirley Dean (Rod); daughter-in-law, Patty Baskins; brother, Howard Joiner; sister, Barbara Moomaw; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Wayne Dean, Donnie Crider, Craig, Jeremy, Christopher, B.J., and Ray Baskins, and nephews, Darryl Baskins, and Keith Joiner.
