Vonda Jo Harris Reeves, born May 1, 1937, moved on to her eternal home with Christ Aug. 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Cletus Harris; mother, Olive Margaretta Strohmeyer Harris; sister, Joyce Olive Harris Hamner; and sister, Nora Mae Harris Lard.
She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Reeves, of Florence; son, William (Bill) Reeves (Penelope), of Calera, Alabama; daughter, Angela Reeves, of Florence; son, retired Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Reeves (Lauren), of Evans, Georgia; brother, Fred Harris (Gladys), of Campobello, South Carolina; brother, Glen Harris (Ann), of Wendell, North Carolina; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 11, at 4 p.m. at College View church of Christ on Pine Street in Florence, Alabama. All friends and family are invited to attend.
