Mrs. Magel Kelley Miles, age 89, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016. She was a member of Sardis No.1 Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sardis No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn, AL. (Co. Rd 17) Funeral service will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the church with John Humphres and Ronnie Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
Mrs. Miles is survived by her husband, Homer Miles; children, Larry Steven Miles and Gary Michael Miles; sister, Ruth Kelley Tidwell; grandchildren, Larry Daniel Miles, Jonathan Delano Miles, Alicia Melodi Miles Dodd, Amanda Diane Miles Albright and Leah Shae Miles; great grandchildren, Ridge Jackson Miles, Kali Alexandra Welborn, Jacob Gordon Dodd, and expected very soon, Lawson Jeremiah Albright.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Samantha Evaline Barton Kelley; son, John Wayne Miles; siblings, Opal Kelley, Alta Kelley Oliver, Clyde Kelley, Alma Kelley Harris, Carl Kelley, Hazel Kelley Wakefield, Madie Kelley Bates and Vernon Dee Kelley.
