Hoyt George, age 75, passed away the morning of Aug. 26, 2016, at home.
He grew up in Red Bay, Alabama and graduated from Red Bay High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Air Force as part of SAC. He worked as an operator at the Occidental Chemical Plant in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Hoyt was the son of the late Philo and Lizzie George. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Hester George. He leaves behind daughter, Laryessa Holmes, her husband, John Holmes, and grandson, Ian Holmes.
Services will be held at the Burnout Baptist Church Cemetery Sept. 10, 2016, at 11 a.m. CST.
