JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports an auto accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 9 which claimed the life of a Jasper man:
” A single-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, has claimed the life of a Jasper man.
Richard Dale Hendrix, 61, was killed when the 2001 Ford Explorer he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Hendrix, who was not using a seatbelt, was transported to Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash occurred on Alabama 195 at the 9.8 mile marker, six miles north of Jasper.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
