Sadie Irene Broadway Harrison long-term resident of Pulaski, TN Passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Keestone Senior Community in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Mrs. Harrison attended public schools in Ardmore, Alabama and lived most of her married life in Prospect TN. She worked in Pulaski, TN at General Shoe Corporation, LeMar Shirt company and subsequently retired from the Maremont-Gabriel Corporation. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and attended Saint Andrew United Methodist Church in Pulaski prior to declining health in recent years.
Born June 23, 1924, she was the only daughter of the late Herbert T. Broadway and Inez Arnett Broadway.
She is survived by,
daughter Sandra Harrison (Charles) McPeake of Arnoldsville, GA
Son William Gary (Patsy) Harrison of Florence, AL,
Grandchildren Andrea Beth McPeake Overholser (Darren) of Atlanta, GA, Charles Andrew McPeake, (Julie) of Arnoldsville, GA, and William Stapp Harrison (Jessica) of Florence, AL. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Naomi Grace McPeake, Aubrey Jane Overholser, Charles Aubrey (Cam) McPeake, James Andrew Overholser, Isabella Eden Harrison and Christopher Chance Harrison. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by husband William Lucius Harrison (1978), brothers James Weldon Broadway and Thomas Edward Broadway.
Services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
