The funeral for Adean Borden, 87, will be today at Parkway Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be today from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Borden, who died Friday, July 29, 2016, at NHC Healthcare, was born, March 5, 1929, to Thomas Landers and Clara Margaret Landers.
She was preceded in death by mother, Clara Margaret Landers; father, Thomas Richard Landers; husband, Draton Borden; daughter, Vera Nell Flannagin; son, Gentress Borden; and brother, Aaron Landers.
Survivors include daughter, Faye Jones, and granddaughter, Heather (Matthew) Branch.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
