Funeral for Dwight J. Bowman, 50, of Decatur will be Friday, July 29, 2016, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Hughes officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Mr. Bowman, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Crestwood Medical Center, was born Sept. 15, 1965, to Jimmie Bowman and Mary Ables. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from Decatur Utilities after 30 years. His father, Jimmie Bowman, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Jackaline Bowman; son, Dustin Bowman; daughter, Hollee Bowman; mother, Mary and Billy Ables; brother, Donald Bowman; and four sisters, Martha Flannigan, Barbara Ashenbraner, Brenda Morgan and Gloria Etheredge.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
