Elizabeth Helen Thigpen, 88, of Marietta, GA, passed away July 16, 2016. Mrs. Thigpen was born July 7, 1928 in Florence, AL. She leaves behind a sister, Ethel Wells and two children, Cathy Greene and Don Thigpen. She also is survived by grandchildren Joshua Greene and Jennifer Greene.
Elizabeth was a devoted and loving mother. She was known for her feisty yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation for Mrs. Thigpen will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather in the chapel of Greenhill Funeral Home on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. for the funeral service.
