Kenneth Wayne Upton, age 77 of Hamilton, AL passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County Alabama on Wednesday, January 11, 1939 to Curfew and Dorena Spencer Upton. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 12-2:00 p.m. at Hodges Church of Christ. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Church of Christ. With burial Mt Hope Extension Cemetery. Bro. Drew Manley, Bro. Steve Gober, Bro. W.T. Allison officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curfew and Dorena Upton; sister, Billie Bert McCarley. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Linda Yielding Upton; children, Vickie Vann (Jay), Steve Upton (Kristie), Misty Ballina (Manuel); 7 grandchildren; brothers, Larry Upton, Jimmy Upton; sister, Betty Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
