Danny Lee Counce Sr., age 73, passed away July 11, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
Mr. Counce was retired from Reynolds Alloys where he was employed as a carpenter in the box shop.
He is survived by his children, Dana Counce Steen (Rickey) and Danny Counce Jr. (Michelle); grandchildren, Dena Wallace (Blake), Heather Steen Fritts (Chris), Tara Steen, Dannielle Counce, and Courtney Counce; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Wallace, Mason Fritts, Abby Gargis, Taylor King, and Ayden Ledlow; and brother, Carl Counce (Neal).
