Lillie Pearl Allen Kimbrough, age 85, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 14, from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Chris Moran will officiate. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Kimbrough was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 63 years, Johnnie Kimbrough, and her parents, Joseph Houston Allen and Mattie South Allen.
Survivors include daughter, Janet Leigh Underwood (Ricky); sons, Archie Don Kimbrough (Karen), Jerry Doyle Kimbrough (Nancy), and Thomas Oneal Kimbrough (Diana); sisters, Barbara Kimbrough, Elizabeth Garrett, and Pat Aday; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, Damon, whom she dearly loved and brightened her day.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wayne Kimbrough, Troy Collett, Victor Daniel, Danny Kimbrough, David Underwood Jr., and Harold Kimbrough.
