marllynMarllyn “Mary” Dale Lyle, 82, Russellville, Alabama passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at her residence.
She was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church. She was an officer with the Back to Basic Committee, member of Nightingale Nursing Club, Franklin County Department of Human Resources Foster Parent Board, and was a Foster grandparent. Mrs. Lyle was a nurse and in the healthcare business for over 35 years.
The visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be Wednesday 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Eric Williams officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Survivors include children, Pam and Maurice Lyle; sisters, India McCullouch, Marguerite (Oscar) McCullouch, Gail L. (Theodore) Hairston, brothers, Jack (Cordelia) Dale Jr., Charles A. Dale and William A. Dale Sr.; grandchild, Seren L. (Alvin) Young; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lyle Sr.; father, Jack Dale Sr.; mother, Mary Ella Thompson Dale; sisters, Dorothy McDaniel, Daisy Reed, Lallie Johnson, Julia Vaughn; brothers, Robert Dale Sr., John Dale and Floyd Dale.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
