Service for Mr. John Thomas Morgan Sr., age 65, of Trinity, will be Sunday, July 3, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Mike Ivey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Morgan, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Parkway Campus, was born May 21, 1951, in Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Morgan, two daughters, Torie Johnson (David), and Jonnie McCarley (Nathan), grandson, Logan Johnson(Laura), granddaughter, Megan Johnson, mother, Ivene Hill, brother, Wendell Morgan (Johnnie), sister, Dee Smith (Rick) and lifetime friend and brother James Rogers (Leanna).
He was preceded in death by his father J.W. Hill, brother, Arthur Sorrell, grandmother, Velma Morgan, grandfather, John Dunn and grandmother Gertie Dunn.
