Doris Marie Holden James , age 80 of Russellville AL passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 .
Visitation will be Sunday July 3, 2016, 1-3 PM at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Funeral services will be Sunday July 3, 2016 at 3PM in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Dickson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Connie Jackson Holden , her son Don James, and brothers Olen Holden and Kenneth Holden.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Hazel Norris James, sons David James, Daniel James (Shelia), and Dale James (Susan), sisters Frances Welborn, Martha Mansell (Floyd Jr.), and Mary Allen and brother Charles Holden (Gwen). 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris James, Brandon James, Austin James, Brad James, David Hayes, Anthony James, Drew Martin, and Mackinley Flannagan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Harold and Brian Galloway.
