TUSCUMBIA-ArtWorks 2016, the member’s show at Tennessee Valley Art Associationis drawing near. So mark your calendar. There’s still time to paint that masterpiece and enter it in ArtWorks 2016!
There will be a “Meet the Artists” opening reception on Sunday, July 24 from 1-3 p.m. with musical entertainment by Doctors, Lawyers & Such.
At the reception you can vote for your four favorite artists.
You do not have to be a member to come to the exhibit on opening day, admission is free, so tell your friends!
The show will run from July 24 throughSeptember 2nd.
Anyone who is a member of the Tennessee Valley Art Association, (and you can become a member for $25 or $10 for students) can submit up to two works which will be shown from July 24 – Sept. 2 at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art. Delivery dates for artwork: Monday, July 11 – Wednesday, July 13.
Rules of entry
- Member artists may enter up to two pieces
- Both pieces must have been completed within the last three years
- Pieces must have not previously exhibited at TVMA or within a 50-mile radius of TVMA.
- All materials and creative methods are acceptable as long as they are the original work of the member artist.
- Artwork must be exhibit-ready including proper hanger wire.
- Work not to exceed 70”x70”.
- There is no entry fee and we take no commission on sales of your work. (fees for credit card sales apply).
