Catherine Jean Thomas age 62 of Athens, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Thomas was born December 12, 1953 in Loretta, TN to William Simbeck and Estelle Hughes Simbeck.
Services will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kasey Harbin and Bishop Ryan Black officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister.
Survived by her husband, Mike Thomas; one daughter, Karen Garner and husband, Joseph; two grandchildren, Jacob Garner and Allie Garner; one step-daughter, Courtney McGraw.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Garner, Wayne McGraw, Andrew Thomas, Casey Thomas, Daryl Thomas and Jacob Garner.
