Nell Underwood Armstrong, 74, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at her home. She was born November 15, 1941 to the late F.C. Underwood and the late Ethel Mansel Underwood in Itawamba County. She enjoyed watching anything Ole Miss, but especially football. She loved going to the Elvis Festival and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grand and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Armstrong of Shannon, 2 Daughters, Lori (Dewayne) Hurley of Nettleton, Kim (Don) Burgess of Jasper, AL, 2 Sons, Tony (Hope) Armstrong, II of Shannon, and Jeff Lelsey of Moorevile, Grandchildren, Joey, Christa (D.J.), Brooke (Chris), Brandon (Audrey), Zack, and Luke, Great-grandchildren, Ansley, Avery, Bella, and Ben, 2 Sisters, Lavelle (Wayne) Young of Fulton, and Ovie Mae Jenkins of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Guyton Ray Armstrong.
