Buford “Lynn” Rutherford, 61, died Friday, June 10, 2016, surrounded by family he loved. Family will have a memorial service Thursday June 16th from 6 to 9 p.m. for all family and friends at First Assembly of God Church in Hartselle. Lynn was born March 09, 1955 in Morgan County to Buford “Boots” Rutherford and Margaret Anne Winton. He was preceded in death by his mother.Survivors include his father, Buford “Boots” Rutherford and stepmother, Deborah; son, Tyler Rutherford; grandchildren, Tanner, Aubry and McKenzie; brothers, Jeff, Joel and Patrick Rutherford and very special sister, Alice Ownby.Lynn loved everyone he met, but his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. He adored every minute with them. Also, Lynn loved a special girl named Angel Rutherford and the family wants to thank her for all she has done with Lynn. Along with huge thanks to his sister, Alice Ownby for all she has done.Lynn loved his Karaoke nights and met alot of good friends during these times. And then his son, Tyler was his world and he loved his son so much. Family would also love to say a big thank you to Clearview Cancer Clinic of Decatur, Dr. Becdach and all his staff for everything they have done for Lynn. He loved you guys
