Robert Lee Glaze, Sr., 79, of Florence, passed away June 7, 2016 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was a member of the Baptist Association, owner of Glaze Sanitation, and a former member of Underwood Petersville Fire Department.
Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Vandiver and Brother Orville King officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Glaze was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Glaze; parents, James and Blanche Glaze; brother, Haywood Glaze; and a son-in-law, Anthony Hines.
He is survived by his son, Robert Glaze, Jr.; daughters, Pam Cox, Renee Fisher, and June Hines; brothers, Earl, Jimmy, John, Floyd, David, and Walton Glaze; sisters, Betty Bobo, and Charity Vinson; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Glaze, Todd McKinney, Zach McKinney, Eric Fisher, Jonathan Glaze, and Clay McKinney.
Brandon Comer and Eric Wooden will serve as honorary pallbearers.
