Hobert L. Faulkner, Sr., age 87, of Somerville passed away on May 23, 2016 in Morgan County. Mr. Faulkner served in the United States Navy for four years (45-49) during World War II. He was a Mason for 50 years and received his 50-year pin at the Somerville Lodge. Preceding him in death were his wife, Hilda C. Faulkner, and son, Jerry Faulkner.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Faulkner; sons, Mark Faulkner and Holbert L. Faulkner, Jr.; grandchildren, Charlie Faulkner and Lauren Faulkner Humphrey; great-grandchildren, Merritt and Rory Humphrey; sister-in-law, Sarah Faulkner and daughter-in-law, Connie Torbert.
Brother Charlie Brown will officiate services on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Lemley Chapel with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Faulkner will be on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Lemley Funeral Home from noon until service time. Lemley Funeral Home and Crematory directing
