Mr. Odus A. Richardson, age 82, passed away on May 25, 2016, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, founder of Richardson Builders, and member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict (1952-1956), private first class.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Crews Richardson; one son, John David Richardson (Sherri); three daughters, Diane Ault (Ron), Patti Moore (Ronnie), and Gayle Wright (Steve); seven grandchildren, Sara Saliba, Alison Cunningham, Julie Slater, Adam Moore, Eric Saliba, Wesley Wright, and Luke Richardson; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leonard and Leslie Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel today at 2 p.m. with Bobby Gobble and Dr. Ed Trimmer officiating and immediate family to proceed to Pleasant Grove Cemetery for interment.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Methodist Church and Pleasant Grove cemetery fund in care of Aaron Pope, 1605 Lynn St., Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
