Dojuanna Jo Strange, 78, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Her visitation will be Thursday, May 19th from 12 pm until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be graveside at 2:30 pm at Shoals Memorial Gardens with Casey Hagle officiating the service.
Mrs. Strange was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School many years for children. Jo was a wonderful lady. She loved the Lord and she loved people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Evie Lee Whitehead; and brothers, Billy and Jack Whitehead.
She is survived by her husband, Willard Edward Strange, Sr.; son, Eddie Strange; daughter, Jennifer Carol Welker (Richard); grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Mackenzie, Tatum, and Justin; three great grandchildren; brothers, Frank Whitehead (Joyce), Tony Whitehead (Bernice), and Danny Whitehead (Ellene).
Pallbearers will be Richard Welker, Matthew Moss, Andrew Fields, Greg Whitehead, Jr., Jackie Whitehead, and Tinker Boyd. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Jefferys.
