James “J.W.” Hokett, 72, of Hartselle passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Virginia McDowra Hokett; two brothers, Ralph Henry Hokett and Riley Fennell Hokett. He is survived by one brother, David Harry Hokett; nephews, Mark Hokett, Al Hokett, Matt Hokett, Timothy Hokett and Brandon; also a niece, Kelly.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from noon to 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a memorial service with Matt Hokett officiating.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Gail and Regina with Hospice of North Alabama for their care of Mr. Hokett. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of North Alabama.
