Dean Richmond, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Salant & Salant, and owner of Richmond’s Fabrics & Formal Wear. She was also a member of Springer Road Church of Christ, Ethridge Home Demonstration Club, Tennessee Valley Jamboree, Lawrence County Historical Society, and Lawrence County Business and Professional Women. Mrs. Richmond was an avid ceramic maker and she loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Alexander and Myrtle Lee Thompson Orton.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016, with James Smith and Sonny Fling officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
