James O. Wood, age 82, of Parrish, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his residence. He retired from LTV Steel Millwright after 33 years. He ran Swann Standard and Muffler for 15 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He devoted his life to the Lord, family and community.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Goodsprings Full Gospel Church of God. Ben Godwin will officiate.
Mr. Wood is survived by his Wife-Patricia K. Wood; Sons-Anthony Wood (Allison) and Randy Wood (Tara); Sisters-Linda Blank and Betty McMillin; Brothers-James Henry Wood and Leroy Wood; Four Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mrs. Wood’s widow.
