ZIP CITY-The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department have identified the man found dead Saturday, April 16. The man was found dead alongside County Road 8 near Zip City.
Deputies say that the man was not carrying any identification. With the public’s help, they were able to identify the man, Steven Lance Hamilton 45, of Florence.
The man was visiting family in the area, and had gone for a walk when something happened medically. According to authorities foul play does not appear to be involved.
