Margaret Janette Whitehead, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at The Meadows in Fulton . She was born February 9, 1921 to the late Claud Hester and the late Jessica Wright Hester in Tremont. She was a member of Plainview Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in her yard, quilting, reading, and cooking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Gerald) Brock of Tuscumbia, AL, 3 sons, Paul Whitehead of Tremont, Charles Wayne Whitehead of Tampa, FL, and Gregory Lee Whitehead of Tampa, FL, Grandchildren, Tiffany Whitehead Hannah, Doug Brock, Michael (Susan) Whitehead, Drew (Tonya) Brock, Jake Whitehead, and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Whitehead, her parents, and brother, Charles Hester.
Pallbearers will be Doug Brock, Michael Whitehead, Drew Brock, Jake Whitehead, and Jerry Brock.
