Allen P. “Bud” Short, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired technician from AT&T and former employee of Murray Ohio. Mr. Short was also a member of Lawrenceburg Golf & Country Club, VFW Post 1618, and First Baptist Church Lawrenceburg. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe W. and Beatrice Reiker Short; and one sister, Joann Spero.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016, with Jeff Vanlandingham officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
