Funeral service for Shirley Ann Waddell, 80, will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Smallwood officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waddell died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  She was born  March 3, 1936, in Cullman County to Abby  C. and Jane Widner Bennett.  Mrs. Waddell was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She was a God fearing christian woman and loved Gospel Music. She was a member of Cross Baptist Church in Falkville. She was employed by Lon’s Food as a cook, prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy G. Waddell, her parents, three brothers: Bufus Bennett and wife, Maedale, Royce Bennett and wife, Pearl, and J.C. Bennett, three sisters and their spouses: Faye Green (Russell), Katherine Maddux (Dee), and Madgie Belle Eubanks (Almon). She will be deeply missed by all.

One Daughter:
Kay Garwood (John)

6 Grandchildren

7 Great Grandchildren

One sister-in-law:
Reba Bennett

Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
