Funeral service for Doris Gatlin Jennings, 85, will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Allred and Rev. Brent Colee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state at the Church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs, Jennings died on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1930, in Morgan County to Dotson Glenn Gatlin and Mable Louise Roberson Gatlin. She worked in production for Verizon and was a longtime member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. She loved working in her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband: W.H. Jennings, her parents: Dotson and Mable Gatlin, one son: LaDois Smith, and three brothers: David Wayne, Hoover and Maurice Gatlin.
