GREENHILL-According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton the shooter is considered a threat to family members and relatives of the deceased female and the injured men have advised to shelter in place. The shootings took place on County Road 130 near the Alabama-Tennessee state line around 10 A.M. on Friday morning, March 25.
According to the sheriff there is a dragnet out for the alleged shooter Charlie Monroe Woods, Sr. Officials said Woods is believed to still be in the area and that he has made threats against his family members. Police have made contact with family to ensure they are safe at this time.
He is considered very dangerous and the public is advised not to approach the suspect but to call local law enforcement or 9-1-1.
