GREENHILL-Law Enforcement is responding to a double shooting near Killen on County Road 130.
According to authorities the shooting took place a little after 10 A.M. on Friday, March 25 just off of County Road 130 just a few miles south of the Alabama-Tennessee state line.
It appears the shooting took place at a residence on a dirt road just off County Road 130.
At this writing no one has been taken into custody for the shooting . According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton three people have been shot one female fatality and two injuries. One of the injured has been airlifter to Coffee Hospital.
The Sheriff also stated they are searching for the suspect, Charlie Monroe Woods, Sr 48. Woods was last seen driving a black Nissan older model truck. Do not approach the suspect he is considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say Woods is believed to still be in the area. The deputy chief said Woods has made threats to other family members.
