Jeanette Maddox, age 72, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was a member of Burleson Church of Christ, she is remembered as the Lady at many of the local restaurants that would be the one that cooked a many meals for people.
Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. The service will be at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Anthony Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in the Wiley Branch Community.
Mrs. Maddox is survived by her children, Mike (Tammy) Maddox and Jeff Maddox; sister, Geneva Lawrence; grandson, Casey Mack (Kendra) Maddox; step granddaughter, Lisa Reeves; great grandson, Riley Blake Maddox; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Arilla Lawrence; husband, Mack T. Maddox; and siblings, Alvie Lawrence, L.V. Lawrence, Ethel Maples, Samuel Lawrence, Virginia Lovett and Wayne Lawrence.
