Phyllis-Hannah-1456339204Phyllis Wade Hannah passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Columbia. She was born in Delaware, Ohio on November 2, 1924 and was 91 years old.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and married to her late husband, Porter C. Hannah for 63 years. She taught for 27 years at both Giles County High School and Campbellsville High, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teachers Sorority, and was a member of the Campbellsville United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 27th at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with John Birdsong officiating.
Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to Campbellsville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter C. Hannah, parents, Gerald Edward and Anna Drummond Wade, and daughter Carol Hannah Rutledge.
She is survived by her,
Daughter, Susan Hannah Puckett and husband Avery of Columbia, TN.
Grandchildren, Leland Wade Puckett and wife Nathalie of Columbia, TN and Paula Potter of Columbia, TN.
Great Grandchildren, Hannah, Hallie, Brandon, Austin, Carley and Madeline.
Son-n-law, Donald Rutledge of Pulaski, TN
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Phyllis Wade Hannah.
