TUSCUMBIA-The popular event “Third Tuesday” has featured many talented artists who have been entertaining fans in the Shoals area for years. “I am very excited to continue this fun event and give something back to the community.” says Dixie Griffin, director of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Each month, besides showcasing these terrific musicians, we always have a few artists who come to listen and wind up joining the band in song.
The event was held on every third Tuesday during lunch hours, but now it will be held at 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. beginning February 16, 2016 due to the request of music lovers to change the time. The artists for the February 16 show are the local band, “Last Chance”. Glenn Bevis known as the “Flash” is the leader of the band. They play a variety of music, oldies, country, and rock.
