LAUDERDALE COUNTY-On October 28, 2026, agents with the U.S. Marshals Service located and arrested Jayden McVay, 19, of Florence, on a Lauderdale County Grand Jury indictment for Rape 2nd.

McVay was located in the Huntsville, Alabama, area and held there until being transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center today.
McVay is the fourth and final arrest in an investigation that began in February 2026, after investigators received a report from DHR regarding an alleged sex crime involving a female juvenile victim and multiple suspects.
During the course of the investigation, investigators executed multiple search warrants at residences associated with the suspects and collected evidence from each location.
Upon completion of the investigation, the evidence was presented to a Lauderdale County Grand Jury.
