MORGAN COUNTY-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department made an arrest after a traffic stop of one susprct on drug possession charges. The arrest was made Saturday, January 30:
“On Saturday, January 30, 2016, a Morgan County Deputy, during a traffic stop on Interstate 65, exit 334 (Priceville), made contact with subject- Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander (w/m 33). Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander was found to be in possession of Marijuana, Heroin, Cocaine, Suboxone and Alprazolam. Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander was in possession of over 4 grams of Heroin and 2 grams of Cocaine along with 31 Alprazolam 1mg pills.
Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander was arrested charged with Trafficking in Heroin, Bond set at: $100,000.00, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance- Cocaine, Suboxone and Alprazolam. Bond set at $25,000.00 per charge. Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander has an additional charge of Escape 3rd, Bond set at: $5,000.00. Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander also has pending Misdemeanor charges for the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Theft of Property 3rd. Bonds at this totaling $180,000.00.
Mitchell Lee Taylor Alexander at time of his arrest was currently out on bond for previous drug arrests that occurred in Madison County.”
