Martha Louise Gusmus, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the age of 89. Her visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A private family graveside service will follow.
Louise was a lifelong resident of Tuscumbia and a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Gusmus; and her parents, Ulysses and Jewel Burden.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Gusmus (Donna) and Randy Gusmus (Sally); daughters, Sharon G. Scott (Jerry) and Martha G. Neese (Joe); sister, Peggy Dickson; grandchildren, Russ Neese, Justin Scott, Mary Blanche Neese Hankey, Bryan Gusmus, and Christopher Gusmus; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
