Mildred Jeanette Steien, 82, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at her home.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Russellville.
The family will receive friends today from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 2 p.m., at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church, with Tyler Malone, Wade Wallace and Joe Lenox officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include children, Gary Steien (Marlaina), Alan Ottie Steien (Sharon) and Paula Steien Malone (Michael); grandchildren, Laura Stockton (Jason), Leah Holden (Ty), Lindsay Steien, Peter Steien, Tyler Malone (Emma) and Trever Malone; great-grandchildren, Taylor and AddyBeth Stockton; sister, Vera Collum; brother-in-law, R. G. Hedges; sister-in-law, Dalona Wynn; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dorothy Taylor and Pat Wynn.
She was preceded in death by husband, E. D. “Pete” Steien; parents, Herman and Azzie Wynn; sisters, Jewell Hutcheson, Juanita Williams, Eva Crittenden and Dawanda Jones; and brothers, Gertrued Wynn, Guin Wynn and Mitch Wynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Hill Cemetery Fund, Phil Campbell.
