Ms. Tommie Sue Wood Risner, 81, of Florence, passed away on January 20, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The funeral service will begin at noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with Joel Caudle and Wayne Wood officiating.
Ms. Risner was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert “Bobby” Risner; father, William Claude Wood; mother, Bessie Sue Hudson Wood; brothers, Teddy Ralph Wood, William C. Wood Jr., Johnny Wood and Rex Wood; and her granddaughter, Molly Caroline Risner.
Survivors include her sons; Bob Risner, Tom Risner (Ginny) of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Scott Risner; brothers, Jack Wood and Jerry Wood; grandchildren, Melanie Risner White (Barry), Courtney Risner Richardson and Mallory Risner Spasoff (Kenny); great-grandchildren, Caleb Richardson and Gabriel Cole Maciag.
Serving as pallbearers are Billy “Peewee” Stevenson, Eddie Pitman, Greg Risner, Ricky Wood, Billy Wayne Risner and Tony Wood.
