Charles Lovoight Headrick, age 90, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Alive Hospice Residence Nashville. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired supervisor from Union Carbide, and of the Non-Denominational faith. Mr. Headrick served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was assigned to the LST-944 in the Pacific and witnessed the flag being raised at Iwo Jima.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Beulah Land Headrick; one brother, Arnold Headrick; and one son, Philip Headrick.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2016, with Richard Gasser, George Lee, and Jerome Frandle officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Alive Hospice.
