Eva Dean Woods, 84, died Jan. 6, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, from noon-2p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Paul Holloway Jr. and Wayne Woods will be officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Mattie Balentine; husband, Almon Woods; son, Winford Woods; brother, Joe Balentine; grandsons, Mitchell Kelly and Greg Holt; and great-grandson, Hunter Kelly.
Mrs. Woods was a wonderful woman who loved the Lord and her family. She loved to travel. She loved her dolls and figurines and never met a stranger.
She is survived by son, Dennis Woods (Kathy); daughter, Phyllis Holt; grandchildren, Eric Woods, Brandy Woods Michaud (Thomas), Mark Ray Woods, and Paula James; great-grandchildren, Alex Woods (Kellie), Autum Woods, Grace Kelly, and Bentley Holt; great-great-grandchildren, Ayden Kelly and Xander Woods; sisters, Francis Wood, Juanita Clayton, Martha Pitts (Eddie), Mildred Mcinnish, Charlene Pope, and Pam Currotto (Bob); brothers, Clifford Balentine (Irene) and Danny Balentine (Linda); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Balentine, Ricky Pitts, Clifford Pope, Eric Woods, Bob Currotto, and Tony Balentine.
