Carolyn Thigpen, 94, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at noon on Saturday at Redeemer Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Scott Barber officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Survivors include three children; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Thigpen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Ministry International.
